Wii Speak

WiiSpeak is a microphone accessory for Nintendo's Wii video game console – the microphone sits on top of your Television. Connected to the console via USB, the device can be placed near the video display, allowing voice chat to be conducted with the entire room. The device features an LED to indicate when the microphone is active. The first title to feature compatibility with WiiSpeak is Animal Crossing: Let’s go to the City. 

The Wii Speak lets people in up to four locations who have traded ‘Friend Codes’ chat with one another. When you use Wii Speak in real time, your Mii appears on your TV screen and mimics your chat. You can also leave audio message for your friends and family members or use Wii Speak to narrate captions for your photos.
